This is the best hair salon I’ve ever been to! My sisters have been coming here for years and recommended it to me as I have just moved to Mackay. My hair was dyed by Emmi and cut by Miki and both were incredible. Emmi really took the time to talk about my hair and what I wanted and it turned out perfect! She nailed it. I have been getting my hair done in the Gold Coast for years now and paying an astronomical amount of money only to feel rushed out the door and left unsatisfied.

It was such a breath of fresh air to be able to go somewhere where the stylist genuinely cared about what I wanted. Intuition is my new favourite salon!

I had a lovely experience with Chelsea at Intuition. From the moment I sat in the chair I was greeted with care and education. she listened to everything I was hoping for & delivered! The natural highlights were flawless, soft, dimensional, and exactly the effortless beachy look I was going for.

Paying close attention to every detail, from the tone board for the colour to the precision of the cut. What stood out was how carefully communicative and considerate she was at determining my preferences, lifestyle, and hair type.

First time at intuition and I was amazed.

All the girls are absolutely lovely and are great to chat to, the communication was great and they were so attentive whilst I was there. My Hair came out so much better than I imagined it and was done quite quickly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the teamwork between the girls.

I will definitely be back.

It was my first time getting my hair coloured and cut there, and Lilli was absolutely amazing. She did an incredible job — I’m super happy with the results!

Been a long time since I’ve walked out of a salon SO happy with my hair!

Came in expecting a basic all over colour but Mikayla created a beautiful dimensional brunette.

Highly recommend Intuition and the ladies there, have finally found my hairdresser in Mackay!!

I got a balayage for the first time at Intuition The Art of Hair Mackay. I was a little nervous since it was my first time getting my hair professionally done, but I couldn’t be happier with the results! Lilli and Courtney did an absolutely incredible job—it turned out even better than I imagined. They were both so kind and professional, making the whole experience enjoyable. The entire team was lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend Lilli, Courtney, and the salon to anyone looking for expert hair care in a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

First time at Intuition today and had a lovely experience with the very friendly and professional, Chelsea.

She took the time to do a full consultation at the beginning and was able to recommend products for what I needed.

Very happy with the result of my colour and cut.

Like always, handled with care from the moment I enter. I didn’t realise it had been nearly 2 years and the atmosphere felt the exact same! I had to take my baby with me and they held her so I could enjoy my hair wash and doted on her. The team made sure from start to finish that I received the style I wanted.

Loveliest bunch of girls and yes I’m already rebooked for my next appointment!

I love my hairdresser at Intuition - Mikaela is a master at what she does I’m always walking out feeling like a queen.. I have very long werft extensions and the blend is seamless every time.

All the staff are so professional yet so super friendly. Always keeping up with the new innovations, trends and tech. Couldn’t be happier truly. And well the treats and drinks provided are super worth it. The head massage, no words describe this heavenly treat.

My mum and I had the most amazing experience at Intuition! We both got blow dries and styles with Chelsea and Lilli, and the results were absolutely stunning. The head massage was so relaxing and literally to die for.

I had the most amazing experience with Lauren, she has taken care of my hair for quite a long time now and she has killed it every from cut to colour everytime, the girls at intuition are all so lovely and are genuinely welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. The experience is like walking on cloud nine from the amazing scalp massage to just the feeling of fresh amazing hair.

I’ve already booked another appointment i have found my forever salon. 💗
